After a year of not really posting anything on Instagram, Facebook or this blog, a meet up with street photographers from all over Germany inspired me. A day of walking around Frankfurt, chatting and taking photos pushed my motivation. So, I sat down today with a note book, a pen and all the ideas in my head to finally find a golden thread.
The past year was a time of keeping my thoughts to myself – at least online. I realized how much time I spent on social media – consuming stories, photos and reels, but also writing, editing and posting takes up so much time.
You might say that time is something we had more than enough of during this long period of not meeting many friends, without events and traveling. Well, I can’t really confirm this. Besides spending many hours baking sourdough bread, making macrame and taking walks (and walks and walks…), I started my photography business, finished my website (www.sonja-kuhl.de – check it out, if you like), prepared and held some online meditations for a local yoga studio, trained to become a holistic coach and read sooo many books on (spiritual) coaching methods. Still not finished reading, but learning is an ongoing process, they say. And I love it –because all of a sudden, many things make so much more sense and everything seems to finally fall into place. Long story… that’s why you’ll have to take this cliff hanger and wait for the full story to be ready to be published. 😉
A place for stories and photos
Anyways: I want Wortsamkeit to remain a place for stories and photos. I’ve gathered so many ideas for stories over the past year – plus there are incredibly many untold travel stories from my trip around the world I find worth sharing. In the future, you will also hear about yoga classes, workshops and coaching.
For today, I’ll leave you with some photos of yesterday’s #streetFFM2021. Thanks to all the fellow street photographers for your inspiration and love.
